  • Anyone! We welcome designers, students, professionals, and hobbyists. Whether you're new to Rhino or an expert, your work is welcome.

  • Your profile (name, email, bio, social links), and later your 3D model or Grasshopper file via a separate upload form.

  • We currently accept:

    • .3dm (Rhino)

    • .gh (Grasshopper)

    • .obj, .stl, .step (if compatible)

  • You don't need to resubmit your profile. You can use our dedicated model upload link here: Submit More Models. Just make sure to use the same name and email address you previously used so we can match your submission.

  • No. We handle technical adjustments (scaling, cleanup, tagging) internally to prepare for MR viewing or slicing.

  • Submitting your profile and models is 100% free.

  • Yes, if a client expresses interest in using your model, we facilitate the transaction. You receive 80% of the design fee. Hive 3D Builders retains a 20% facilitation fee.

  • It compensates you for your design only. It does not include ongoing modeling services unless separately agreed.

  • You’re free to manage your own deals. No fee is owed to Hive 3D Builders in that case.

  • Yes. You can choose the "Open Source / Credit Only" option and allow others to view/print your model freely with attribution.

  • You do. Hive 3D Vision only receives a non-exclusive license to showcase and optimize it.

  • We only make small technical adjustments to improve display or printability — never to your creative intent.

  • Yes. You can request removal or deletion at any time. Please give 14 days’ notice if your model is featured in public content.

  • It may appear in app recordings, YouTube videos, or demos. Credit will always appear in-app, and possibly in video descriptions.

  • We collect only what's necessary: name, email, social handles, bio, and a profile image

  • Yes. Your data is stored securely. You can request full deletion of your data and files anytime.

  • Absolutely! Feel free to share screenshots, social posts, and links. Proper credit to Hive 3D Vision is appreciated.

  • Not all. We curate all submissions to meet our aesthetic and technical standards. You’ll be contacted if there are issues.

  • Possibly. We may reach out about model scale, layer formatting, or improvements for printing.

  • There is no guaranteed timeline. We'll notify you if your model is selected.

  • You’re responsible for the originality of your design. Hive 3D Vision is not liable for third-party disputes.

  • We aim for open communication. Disputes will be handled informally first. Formal resolution falls under Houston, Texas jurisdiction.

  • Yes. Participating in the program means you agree to the latest version of our agreement.
